Fire Weather Planning Forecast for West Texas/Southeast New Mexico
National Weather Service Midland/Odessa TX
924 PM CDT Fri Jun 28 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns remain low for the next week. Min RHs stay
above critical levels and recoveries remain fair to good areawide.
Thunderstorms may pose a lightning start threat for the higher
elevations west of the Pecos River. Otherwise, wetting rains will
locally improve fuel conditions. Winds remain light outside of
any convection where gusty, erratic winds may be present.
