If any fires do start, strong and breezy winds could be an issue, particularly along the coast and in some gaps and passes where the winds are quite strong. Some stations in the East Bay hills are reporting gale force gusts. After the front moves through this evening, cold air aloft could help trigger a few showers and thunderstorms Monday. A second cold front will move through on Wednesday, bringing more cold weather and renewed thunderstorm chances. ...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...
