height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR WASHINGTON AND OREGON WATERS...A weak warm front
will lift slowly NE over the waters tonight. A high pressure
ridge over the waters will weaken tonight and early Sat. A cold
front will cross the region later tonight and Sat while
weakening. High pressure will rebuild behind the front Sat and
Sat night. Weak low pressure will approach the Oregon waters
later Sat night into early Sun, move into the region Sun and
dissipate by Sun night. A strengthening high pressure ridge will
build E into the region Mon and Mon night, then persist through
Tue night while expanding E over the waters, then slowly weaken
Wed and Wed night. A coastal trough will expand N and strengthen
along the Oregon coast Mon night into Tue night, then persist
through Wed night while weakening.
