.DISCUSSION...Current radar and visible satellite imagery showing
light showers moving along the east slopes of the Cascades with
isolated thunderstorms beginning to develop along the Blue
Mountains. These storms will persist through much of the evening
before dissipating overnight as the cold front exits the region.
Breezy winds return Saturday afternoon across the Kittitas Valley,
Simcoe Highlands, and portions of the Basin and northern Blue
Mountain foothills as high confidence (80%) resides with gusts of
30 to 40 mph occurring. Skies clear overnight into Sunday
morning, as temperatures warm through the end of the weekend.
