Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1229 PM MDT Sun Sep 22 2024

.Discussion...

An upper level trough will slowly move across the district
today, keeping temperatures below seasonal levels and chances
of rain showers and high elevation snow at and above 10,000
feet, over and near the higher terrain today. There could be
an isolated thunderstorm as well this afternoon. Drier weather
with temperatures warming back to at and above seasonal levels
returns for much of next week, save for a few possible showers
over and near the higher terrain Monday and Tuesday.

Smoke dispersion will stay in the poor to fair category today
and then improve slightly to fair to good levels on Monday.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
