Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1217 AM MDT Sat Jun 29 2024

.Discussion...

Daily showers and thunderstorms can be expected most days over
the next week with Saturday and Sunday seeing the most widespread
wetting rainfalls of the next 7 days. Locally heavy rainfall will
be capable of producing flash flooding for burn scars, especially
over the weekend should they become directly impacted. Otherwise,
storms will be capable of producing gusty erratic winds, hail,
and lightning. Temperatures will drop to near to slightly below
normal over the weekend behind a cold front which moves through
the southeast plains. Temperatures return to above normal by next
week.

Smoke dispersion is expected to be fair to very good across the
area on Saturday and Sunday.
