...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL MORA AND
SOUTHWESTERN COLFAX COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM MDT...
At 459 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Ocate, or 15 miles northwest of Wagon Mound, moving
northeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of North Central Mora and Southwestern Colfax
Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
