...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO
11 PM MST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and
  6 inches.

* WHERE...Southwest Chaves County, including Dunken and Elk.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 11 PM MST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Tire traction will be
  reduced. Extend the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle
  in front of you.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Very difficult travel conditions are likely
  along US Highway 82, with the period of heaviest snowfall occurring
  Monday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. For the latest road conditions, dial

Persons should delay all travel if possible. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution and be prepared for sudden
changes in visibility.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING
TO 11 PM MST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to 3 inches, with
  locally higher amounts up to 6 inches above 7500 feet in the
  Sacramento mountains.

* WHERE...Eastern Lincoln County, South Central Mountains, and Chaves
  County Plains.

* WHEN...From 11 PM this evening to 11 PM MST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on snow packed or icy road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the Monday morning and evening commutes,
  particularly along Highways 380 and 70 between Roswell and Ruidoso,
  as well as Highway 285 south of Roswell.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A band of heavy snow will develop across
  southern Lincoln and southern Chaves Counties early Monday morning.
  Snow amounts across northern Lincoln and northern Chaves Counties
  will probably remain under an inch.
