The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Big Stone County in west central Minnesota...
  Southern Roberts County in northeastern South Dakota...

* Until 915 AM CDT.

* At 511 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms have produced
  1 to 4 inches of rainfall across portions of Roberts and Big Stone
  Counties. Heavy rain continues early this morning across the
  warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Sisseton, Agency Village, Browns Valley, Wilmot, Clinton, Peever,
  Peever Flats Housing, Yankeetown, Bonanza Grove, Dakota Connection
  & Casino, Finley Heights Housing, Big Stone Lake, Lake Traverse,
  Lismore Colony, Lagoona Beach and Lake Traverse Reservation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
