By midnight, northwest winds should subside to around 5 to 15 mph. Other than perhaps an isolated shower or sprinkle Wednesday morning, the forecast is dry until Friday afternoon, when there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly east of the James River valley region. Low temperatures tonight will be in the 50s. High temperatures on Wednesday will be cooler with readings topping out mainly in the 70s. $$ 10
