.DISCUSSION...
Key Messages...
- Gusty 40 to 60 mph winds continue tonight for the AK Range passes,
particularly in Isabel, where gusts could approach 75 mph, with
winds beginning to diminish Wednesday.
- Isolated thunderstorms return Wednesday for the White Mountains,
Fortymile, and even as far north as the eastern Brooks/northern
Yukon Flats. Rain also increases its footprint, moving northeast
into the Yukon and Eastern Brooks.
- Driest conditions in the area will likely be near Tok/Northway but
cool temps and RH above 30 percent will limit fire potential.
