.DISCUSSION...
The main body of the front passed over the fire overnight. There
is some chance of postfrontal showers developing near the fire,
but southerly flow continues over the mountains south of the fire
which will limit precipitation potential. Gusty winds are still
expected over the fire which will mix down near the surface with
increasing frequency as mixing heights increase in the afternoon.
The winds are expected to last through the day and weaken
overnight. The remains of the front push south towards the fire
late Monday through Wednesday which will increase the chances of
wetting rains as those winds weaken. Significantly cooler
temperatures are expected near the fire with highs in the 60s
through the end of the week. Minimum RH recovers well with these
cooler temperatures and showery conditions with RH expected to
remain above 40 through the end of the week.
