...Rainy Tuesday Followed by a Dry Wednesday...
.DISCUSSION...A surge of warm air and moisture ahead of an
approaching cold front will bring widespread rainfall to northern
Lower Michigan overnight into early Tuesday afternoon. Rainfall
amounts of 0.25-0.75 inch are expected. Drier air is forecast to
sweep across northern Michigan Tuesday afternoon...which will bring
the rain to an end from west to east. The rain will be accompanied
by gusty south winds overnight and Tuesday. Dry weather is expected for
Wednesday...but rain chances will return Thursday.
