.DISCUSSION...Cold front will cross the burn location, forcing
winds to veer west with its passage. May see a few sprinkles with
this frontal passage, and perhaps even a few light additional
showers this afternoon, but confidence in any rain impacting the
exact burn location remains very low (if rain does occur, amounts
will likely remain very limited). Relative humidity will mix out
later this morning and afternoon, although flow off Lake Michigan
should keep readings a bit elevated compared to further inland
areas. Still expecting RH values to drop to near 40 percent
through this afternoon (although proximity to Lake Michigan
influence does make for a very challenging relative humidity
forecast). Winds will be a touch gusty at times, perhaps exceeding
critical levels. Good RH recovery tonight with again humidity
readings likely dropping below 40 percent for Sunday afternoon.
Expect mixing heights to top out around 3kft today, with those
heights falling quickly tonight.
