.DISCUSSION...
Wind gusts up to 20 mph are expected today with directions,
initially out of the southwest, slowly turning counter-clockwise
through the afternoon to out of the south around sunset. Winds
will then begin to turn clockwise, slowly becoming out of the
northwest by sunrise Tuesday. Strongest gusts Tuesday will occur
in the morning, with speeds out of the northwest to 20-25 mph.
Humidity values both during the day today and Tuesday will drop
into the 40-50 percent range. Only fair to good smoke ventilation
is expected today.
As for uncertainties in the forecast, there is a small (10%) for
a very light shower to occur at or near the fire site between 4PM
and 10PM this evening. In the off chance this does occur, brief
erratic wind directions would occur.
