.DISCUSSION...
No updates to the previous forecast. A seasonal pattern is in
place for much of the next 7 days. High temps about 5 degrees
above normal and low temps right at normal with drier RHs.
Afternoon breeziness in the Snake Plain and ID/NV border. A weak
system early this week will bring a slight chance of
thunderstorms Monday afternoon. Watching the development of a
deep upper low for next weekend.

MSL...SW 10-20 kt.

KBOI...VFR. NW wind 5-10 kt.

Sunday Outlook...VFR. Surface winds SW-NW 5-15kt in the afternoon.
Light winds at night.

.PREV DISCUSSION...
SHORT TERM...Today through Monday night...Dry southwest flow
remains over the area through the short term. A shortwave will
move through the area on Monday afternoon, with a slight chance
of thunderstorms. Temperatures will be 5-10 degrees above normal
through the short term.

LONG TERM...Tuesday through Saturday...Southwest flow continues
through the long term with temperatures 5-10 degrees above
normal. A trough over Haida Gwaii slowly moves into the Pacific
Northwest by Saturday, bringing much cooler temperatures and
breezy conditions. Temperatures on Saturday lower to around 5-10
degrees below normal, with mid 70s in the valleys and upper 50s
to low 60s in the mountains.
