.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Warm and generally dry
conditions will continue today. Humidity values are likely to fall
to around 15-20% across most of the plains, with a slight
improvement in RH expected across the higher elevations. Winds are
expected to remain light this afternoon. A few showers or weak
thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon, mainly across the
high country south of I-70.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday through Tuesday...A broad plume of
moisture is expected to work back into the region this weekend
into early next week, leading to a gradual increase in humidity
while winds remain generally weak. We`ll see daily chances for
afternoon showers and thunderstorms, with the better chances
across the higher mountains. Wetting rainfall will be possible but
is not expected to be widespread on any given day.
