.DISCUSSION...
From Thursday morning onward, conditions are expected to be dry
with much above normal temperatures Friday through Tuesday.
Forecast confidence is reasonably high for Monday and Tuesday next
week given the fact that a ridge of high pressure is expected to
be overhead or very near central Colorado. Winds should be light
Monday and Tuesday, 7-10 mph and most likely out of the east or
northeast following normal diurnal wind patterns in the area. RH
should drop to around 30% during the afternoon. Despite the weaker
transport winds, smoke dispersal should reach the good category
during the afternoon. There is one possible thing that could
result in a bit more wind and some light rain on Tuesday.
Ensemble model output has a weak trough move over central
Colorado sometime late Monday into Tuesday. If it`s stronger than
forecast, could be more west winds in it`s wake on Tuesday, with
better chances of rain late Monday into early Tuesday, then again a
higher chance of rain with diurnal convection Tuesday afternoon.
This far out that`s around 30% chance of a rain shower and maybe a
rumble of thunder for Tuesday afternoon.
