.DISCUSSION...Tonight and Sunday...
Critical fire weather conditions are expected over Park County
into from mid morning through mid evening on Saturday.
Fuels in that area have dried out so a Red Flag Warning is in
effect there. Fuels will remain green over the rest of the forecast
area. The hot, dry conditions are expected to continue on Saturday
with humidities dropping into the 7-12 percent range during
the afternoon. Smoke dispersal will be good to excellent
Saturday afternoon.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Sundaynight through Thursday...
One more day of hot and dry conditions are expected on
Sunday. Elevated fire conditions can be expected in areas
where the fuels are dry. A cooler, more moist airmass will
bring scattered to likely showers and thunderstorms to the
area Monday through Wednesday. Wetting rains are a good
bet for some areas all three days.
