.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1046 PM CST Fri Dec 5 2025

The overrunning pattern that has been dominate for the past
couple days looks to break down Saturday as the coastal trough
moves further offshore, and the 925-850mb flow shifts more
southwesterly. This pattern change will likely result in drier
low-level flow advecting into the region, likely decreasing cloud
cover slight Saturday afternoon, and decreasing the potential for
any light rain or drizzle. The decreased cloud cover will allow
high temperatures to increase to the 70s Saturday and into the 80s
on Sunday.

This pattern will further break down Sunday afternoon with the
arrival of a deep cold front. This front will likely usher in
mostly sunny to sunny skies and near zero rain chances for the
first half of next week. In addition, CAA behind the front will
likely drop low temperatures back to the mid 40s to low 50s Sunday
and Monday nights. High temperatures will likely range from the
60s to 70s Monday, gradually increasing to the 80s by mid week as
southeasterly winds return Tuesday.

(12Z TAFS)
Issued at 544 AM CST Sat Dec 6 2025

Less than ideal aviation conditions will occur at the aerodromes
through the next 24 hours. A TEMPO has been included for several
of the morning hours to account for precipitation streaming out of
Mexico, and is based on the HRRR model. Overall, MVFR to VFR is
expected.

.MARINE...
Issued at 1046 PM CST Fri Dec 5 2025

Generally favorable marine conditions are expected Saturday and
Sunday morning. However, a cold front Sunday afternoon will likely
bring stronger winds and higher seas through Monday afternoon,
likely requiring a Small Craft Advisory for the Gulf waters and
Laguna Madre. Conditions look to begin improving Monday afternoon,
with generally favorable conditions forecast to return by Monday
night and continue through the remainder of the forecast.
