Widespread rainfall will spread over these areas and continue through Saturday night from the eastern Adirondacks into most of Vermont. Rainfall amounts for most locations should be between 1.5 to 2.5 inches, though localized amounts up to 3 inches are possible in Vermont. The extended duration of the rainfall will mitigate most concerns for flooding. However, river rises are anticipated with the potential for some rivers to reach bankful.
