Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
226 AM EDT Sun Oct 5 2025

.DISCUSSION...
Easterly winds will lead to increasing moisture today, mainly
across the southern FA and the CSRA. Showers will be possible from
this morning into the afternoon. We also cannot rule out an
isolated thunderstorm. There will be at least a slight chances of
showers through mid week before a cold front moves through the
region.

Fog potential tonight: Patchy fog possible
