...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN KNOX COUNTY THROUGH 215
PM EDT...

At 133 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sparta, or 7 miles west of Mount Vernon, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Vernon, Gambier, Utica, Centerburg, Martinsburg, and
Bladensburg.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
