.DISCUSSION...
Today will wee winds mostly out of the west peaking in the mid-
teens (kts) in the afternoon (2-3pm). Winds will also gust into
the mid 20s (kts) during the afternoon. The afternoon will also
see RHs drop into the low-30s before rising in the evening hours
(post 5pm). A low end chance of scattered precipitation exists
throughout the afternoon, any accumulations are expected to be
light.
Seasonably cool end to the week with multiple rounds of rain
possible. Expect rain to become more widespread late Friday night.
This should keep RHs falling too far tomorrow, but some areas in
SE PA that will see little to no rainfall could see minimum RH
values in the low 30s. Winds are likely to gust tomorrow afteroon
20+kts across the state. Despite this, greenup throughout much of
the region should preclude most fire spread. Additional showers
are likely to last into Saturday morning before another round
Sunday into early Monday followed by dry weather and frost/freeze
risk Monday night into next Tuesday.
