Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
450 AM EDT Thu Aug 28 2025

We will continue to get an early taste of fall weather over the
next several days with cool mornings and pleasant afternoons.

A cold front will move down from the Great Lakes and bring a
chance for showers and even a thunderstorm or two across northern
Pennsylvania later this afternoon and tonight. However, most
places south and east of State College should remain dry.

Behind the cold front, a Canadian high pressure system will move
in for Labor Day weekend, keeping it dry and ensuring the
continuation of temperatures in the 60s and 70s during the day and
upper 30s to low 50s overnight.
