Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
945 PM EDT Sun Jun 15 2025

A stationary front extending from the Ohio River Valley through
West Virginia and southern Virginia will act as a path for weak
areas of low pressure to ripple east along tonight through early
Tuesday.

High pressure off the coast of Maine will continue to push moist,
cool air inland from the Atlantic Ocean, which means thick
clouds, ridge shrouding fog and occasional drizzle or a few
showers from time to time.

Low temperatures tonight will range from the mid to upper 50s over
much of Central and Northern Pennsylvania to the mid 60s in the
southwest corner of the state.

Highs on Monday will be a few to several degrees higher than
today, and still well below normal over the eastern three
quarters of the state, where the mercury will only reach the mid
60s to low 70s. Highs will climb into the mid and upper 70s
across the western lowlands of the state.

Temperatures will warm to more typical levels for mid June by
middle of the week and likely several degrees above normal for
many locations across the southeast half of the state. This much
warmer and humid conditions will bring the threat for one or more
rounds of strong to severe thunderstorms Wednesday and more likely
Thursday.
