Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
958 PM EDT Sun Jul 26 2026

Lingering showers across the Susquehanna Valley and north-central
mountains will taper off this evening, giving way to partly cloudy
skies regionwide. Patchy overnight fog may lead to reduced
visibilities in spots during the early morning commute, with fog
clearing out shortly after sunrise. Low temperatures for tonight
will range from the upper 50s to mid 60s across the Commonwealth.

A more significant disturbance will move across the region from
Monday through Wednesday, resulting in several rounds of showers
and potentially severe thunderstorms. Localized heavy rainfall
amounts of one to two inches are possible, especially across the
Susquehanna Valley.

Mainly dry and seasonable conditions are expected in the system`s
wake on Thursday and Friday, with chances for showers and perhaps
even some thunderstorms returning over the weekend.
