.DISCUSSION...

High level clouds today slowly lower through later this afternoon
and evening, with peaks of sun possible in this high-based clouds.
Gusty southeast winds just off the surface early this morning
will mix down to the surface 0900-1000 LT today and remain through
this afternoon. The current forecast calls for gusts to peak in the
low-20 mph range today, but a few overachieving gusts to 25 mph are
within the range of possibility around mid-day today. Forecast
thinking for today is that these gusty winds mix out some drier air
aloft and aided by increase temperatures approaching 70 F this
afternoon to create MinRH today in the low-40% range. No rainfall
is forecast through this evening before early tonight some scattered
rain showers may bring a tenth of an inch of rain to the fire site.
