This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Iowa.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight

Scattered thunderstorms will develop in northern Iowa this
afternoon and expand towards central Iowa into the evening. A few
strong to severe storms may be possible with hail and gusty
winds the primary hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Multiple rounds of more widespread thunderstorms are forecast
from Sunday into next week with severe weather possible at times.
Localized ponding and river rises are also possible, in addition
to the potential for flash flooding with this activity. Specific
details during that time frame will be better known in the coming
days.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is unlikely this weekend but may be needed at
times this coming week.
