...Synopsis...
Fire weather concerns will remain low across the CONUS on
D2/Tuesday. A trough will bring scattered thunderstorms across
portions of the Great Basin. Though these thunderstorms are expected
to be mainly wet, a few pockets of marginally receptive fuels and
ERCs ranging from the 50-70th percentile across portions of Nevada
may allow for lightning ignition.

Elsewhere, a cold front will continue to stretch across the far
southern Plains bringing shower and thunderstorm activity across
portions of western and south-central Texas. Mid-level heights will
begin to rise again across the central US with warming temperatures
but generally light winds.
