...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL OTERO COUNTY
THROUGH 1130 PM MDT...
At 1104 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles west of Sunspot, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Boles Acres and Oliver Lee State Park.
This includes Highway 54 in New Mexico between mile markers 39 and
59.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
