.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Cumulus cloud field in place across much of north GA and portions of
central GA. Tropical low pushing into the GA coastline is actually
providing clear skies across much of the rest of central GA until
the edge of the tropical moisture arrives, from which some showers
and Tstorms will be possible later this afternoon and tonight. RHs
have fallen to the 30s and 40s with winds from the E to ENE. Winds
are light, 5-10 mph in North GA, and 8-15 mph in central GA.
Moisture from the tropical low will filter into parts of the area
tomorrow. Min RHs will be a wide range, from 30s and 40s in the
north to 50s and 60s in parts of central GA where cloud cover and
rain chances will be higher. Winds will be similar to today from E
to ENE, 5-10 mph in North GA, and 8-15 mph in central GA. Mixing
heights will be impacted by rainfall and cloud cover, 6-7 kft by the
afternoon in northern and western GA, down to 3-4 kft in east
central GA. Transport winds will be weaker and subject to a lot of
variability by location, but being weak will drive some lower ADI
values.
