.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Dry weather is forecast to persist today, though abundant mid level
clouds can be expected. Moisture will begin to increase today, and
minimum relative humidity values this afternoon are forecast to
range from the lower 40 percent range in northwest Georgia to
upper 50 percent to near 60 percent range across much of the rest
of the area.
Continued increasing moisture will bring a slight chance for a
few isolated thunderstorms on Sunday, primarily in Middle Georgia.
Even so, any rainfall is expected to remain light,
mainly under around 0.10inches. Expect breezy easterly winds
today and Sunday at 6-12 mph with occasional gusts of 15-22 mph.
Maximum mixing heights decrease through Monday with peak values
today of 3-4kft falling to 2-3kft Sunday and Monday. Transport
winds out of the east at 15 to 20 mph.
