.DISCUSSION...

Saturday (the day of the event) is expected to be rainy,
overcast, and cool. The morning low temperature will be in the
mid-40s and the afternoon high temperature will be in the mid-50s.
The rain chances through the day will range from 70% to 80% --
indicating a fairly widespread, consistent rainfall.
Thunderstorms, however, are not expected. While it is possible
that there could be occasional breaks in the rain, additional
model data and forecast fine-tuning will be needed over the next
24 hours or so to pinpoint that with confidence. We will send an
updated Spot Forecast tomorrow (Friday) with out latest thinking.

For any prep work that is being done today and tomorrow ahead of
the event, periods of rainfall could be impactful. A break in the
rain (or least a lightening up of the rain) appears likely later
this afternoon (around 4 PM) into the evening. Another push of
rainfall is expected tonight, starting around 11 PM and continuing
overnight. That push of rainfall is expected to taper off around
11 AM tomorrow, with a renewed wave of rainfall arriving tomorrow
evening.
