Here is your morning spot forecast update.

Expect increasingly cloudy conditions as we move into the morning
hours. Shower and thunderstorm chances begin to increase around 8
to 10 am this morning with off and on scattered showers and
thunderstorms through much of the day and into the overnight
hours. A few storms may become strong to severe with gusty winds,
frequent lightning, and locally heavy rainfall. Showers and
thunderstorms will be efficient rain producers and may pose a
localized flash flood threat should storms move slowly or train
over the same area through the day. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms will help to limit heat indices to just below 100
through the day. Winds will generally be 5 to 10 mph out of the
southwest with gusts up to 15 mph. Winds in and around
thunderstorms may become gusty and variable.
