...ICE STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Significant icing. Additional ice accumulations of one to
  four tenths of an inch expected . Winds gusting 20 to 35 mph
  tonight.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, north central, and northeast
  Georgia.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely
  become slick and hazardous. Significant ice accumulation on power
  lines and tree limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting power
  outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter storm
kit along with you, including such items as tire chains, booster
cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing. Also take
water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help you survive
in case you become stranded.

* WHAT...Freezing rain. Additional ice accumulations around a light
  glaze.

* WHERE...Portions of central and east central Georgia.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible.
  The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible power
outages. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling
from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
