Here are the Recreation Area Forecasts...

Wave height forecasts represent the average of the highest 33% of
waves that occur in a given period. Since the significant wave
height is an average of the largest waves, mariners should be
aware that many individual waves will be higher.

For Devils Lake...

.TONIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 mph until early morning becoming
light. Waves 1 to 2 feet subsiding to 1 foot or less after
midnight. Areas of frost early in the morning. Clear in the
evening then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the mid 30s.
.FRIDAY...South winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or less. Patchy
frost early in the morning. Mostly sunny in the morning then
becoming mostly cloudy. Highs 55 to 65.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Windy. South winds 20 to 30 mph decreasing to
15 to 20 mph early in the morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet. Mostly
cloudy. Lows in the mid 40s.


For the Upper and Lower Red Lakes...

.TONIGHT...Breezy. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph decreasing to
10 to 15 mph after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet subsiding to
1 foot or less after midnight. Clear. Lows 42 to 47.
.FRIDAY...West winds around 10 mph until late afternoon becoming
light. Waves 1 foot or less. Sunny in the morning then becoming
partly sunny. Highs in the 50s.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Windy. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph increasing to
20 to 30 mph early in the morning. Waves 1 foot or less building
to 1 to 2 feet after midnight. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper
40s.


For Lake of the Woods...

.TONIGHT...Windy. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph decreasing to
10 to 20 mph after midnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet. Mostly clear.
Lows 43 to 48.
.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Waves 1 foot or less.
Mostly sunny. Highs in the 50s.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 20 mph. Waves 1 foot or
less. Mostly cloudy. Lows in the upper 40s.
