This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

The chance for showers and scattered thunderstorms will increase
this afternoon through tonight. While severe weather is not
expected, a few weak funnel clouds may occur with developing showers
in south central South Dakota this afternoon.

A low to moderate (20-40%) chance for rainfall amounts exceeding 1
inch tonight over south central South Dakota and northcentral
Nebraska. There is some uncertainty in the track of the storm that
will impact where the highest amounts fall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Periods of scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue through
the holiday weekend, with the highest chances during the afternoon
to early evening each day. The risk for severe weather remains low,
but isolated weak funnels will again be possible with developing
showers Saturday afternoon.
