A dry morning will give way to increasing rain coverage through the afternoon, especially along and north of I-90. A band of moderate to briefly heavy precipitation will then persist through tonight, most likely near the Highway 14 corridor from east central South Dakota into southern Minnesota. A rain/snow mix to all snow will develop within this band tonight, with light accumulations of snow for some locations (highest across the Buffalo Ridge north of MN Highway 30). Temperatures remain chilly on Tuesday, otherwise mostly dry and seasonably mild temperatures will dominate the rest of this week into next weekend.
