Rangeland Fire Danger Statement
National Weather Service Sioux Falls SD
351 PM CST Mon Nov 10 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Cold temperatures with highs in the 20s, 30s, and low 40s is
resulting in high humidity values between 40-80%. Winds remain light
generally out of the south with isolated gusts barely touching 25
mph. With a snowpack remaining across the bulk of the area, fuels
are not sufficient for fire spread. Thus, low fire danger is
expected for the rest of this afternoon. While high temperatures
will warm through the week, the snow pack will still keep fuels
unfavorable for fire spread. Humidity values will will also remain
well above critical thresholds. This will keep fire danger low to
moderate for the week.
