(Tonight through Tuesday) Water vapor imagery shows a storm track well removed from North Texas with mid level ridging building in across the Southern Plains. This will keep the weather quiet to start the week with high temperatures Monday about 5-10 degrees warmer than yesterday. Clear skies and relatively light winds at night will allow lows to fall into the upper 40s and low 50s, but a slow warmup is expected through the middle of the week. Dunn && .LONG TERM... (Tuesday night through next Sunday) A flat mid level ridge will remain in place across the Southern Plains through the week which will result in clear skies and above normal temperatures. High temperatures will climb into the low/mid 80s by Wednesday and Thursday with a few spots west of I-35 approaching 90 degrees. A weak front will knock a few degrees off of high temps by Friday into next weekend, but near zero rain chances will persist. Dunn && .AVIATION...
