.DISCUSSION...
Increasing moisture across the region today will limit the threat
for weather to contribute to the wildfire potential. As moisture
increases, a potent weather system will approach from the west,
increasing rain chances starting today. Heavy rain is expected to
develop starting this evening and continue through tomorrow. A
Flood Watch is in effect today through Friday morning.
The widespread rain potential will continue through Friday, and
perhaps through the weekend as the weather system responsible for
the rain slowly shifts east. Temperatures will remain in the 70s
to lower 80s starting Thursday with overnight lows in the 50s and
60s.
