AFTERNOON...
.DISCUSSION...
Hot and dry conditions will continue through the weekend with
daily high temperatures near 100 degrees and afternoon RH values
around 30%. Drier air will be in place on Saturday with RH values
between 20-25% across a good portion of North Texas. With
temperatures near 100 degrees and south winds 10-15 mph, Saturday
may pose the greatest threat for an increase in grass fire
activity across the region. Otherwise, a weak frontal boundary
will push south toward the region late Sunday with slightly cooler
weather and an increase in rain chances early next week.
