National Weather Service Glasgow MT
109 PM MDT Fri Oct 2 2026

.KEY MESSAGES...
- Seasonable temperatures and dry conditions will prevail through
  the weekend.

- Monday looks to feature markedly warmer temperatures with highs
  in the 70s and 80s.

&&

.DISCUSSION...Synoptic Setup:
Anomalously strong upper ridging for this time of year moves in
from the west over the weekend. This will lead to much warmer than
average temperatures next week. After a brief cool down tomorrow,
highs in the afternoon climb to the 80s on Monday. The remainder
of the week looks to remain warm and dry as upper level ridging
moves east, save for any quick shortwaves along the mostly zonal
flow.

FORECAST CONFIDENCE & DEVIATIONS:

No changes to NBM given the only model suggesting any precip is
the SREF. A brief shower in the east along the ND border is
possible, but chances look to be decreasing.
