Strong west winds are expected across the region today. An upper
level disturbance this afternoon and evening will bring showers
and thunderstorms mainly north of the Missouri River. Winds will
diminish tonight as high pressure moves into the area. Look for
warmer temperatures Wednesday and Thursday. Low humidity and
west winds could bring elevated Fire Weather conditions Thursday
afternoon. Cooler and wetter conditions return later in the week.
