...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Nebraska, including the
  following county, Polk.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams. Water over county roads.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 730 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
    already occurring in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3.5
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - This includes the following streams and drainages...
    Lincoln Creek, Clear Creek, North Branch Big Blue River, and
    Big Blue River.
    Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Shelby.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
