Very late tonight into early Friday morning, at least patchy fog could develop at some point almost anywhere in our forecast area. While most fog that develops should be fairly light, localized pockets of dense fog, perhaps reducing visibility to 1/4 mile or less, cannot be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. Between sunrise and around 9 or 10 AM Friday, at least patchy fog could continue or still develop almost anywhere in our forecast area. While most fog should be fairly light, localized pockets of dense fog, perhaps reducing visibility to 1/4 mile or less, cannot be ruled out. Friday afternoon into Friday night, isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible within much of our area, but with the highest chances and coverage primarily favoring counties west of Highway 281. While most storms that occur should be weak, a few strong to marginally-severe storms cannot be ruled out, particularly in our far western counties such as Dawson, Gosper and Furnas.
