...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MOFFAT COUNTY
THROUGH 845 PM MDT...
At 822 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 36
miles southeast of Squaw Hollow Boat Ramp On Flaming Gorge, or 40
miles east of Manila, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Moffat
County.
This includes Colorado 318 between mile markers 2 and 4.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
