...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1145 AM MDT /1245 PM CDT/
THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Greeley County in west central Kansas...
  Western Logan County in west central Kansas...
  Wallace County in west central Kansas...
  Wichita County in west central Kansas...

* WHEN...Until 1145 AM MDT /1245 PM CDT/.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 857 AM MDT /957 AM CDT/, emergency management reported an area
    of very heavy rainfall in Tribune, along with some minor
    flooding. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
    warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Leoti, Sharon Springs, Tribune, Weskan, Horace, Wallace, Selkirk,
    Marienthal and Lydia.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
