Weather Summary for North-Central and Northeast Wisconsin
National Weather Service Green Bay WI
519 PM CDT Mon Jun 17 2024

An area of thunderstorms was moving through the Fox Valley late
this afternoon, which were producing lightning and heavy rainfall.
This area of storms will track east-northeast into the early
evening.

Meanwhile, temperatures at 5 PM were mainly in the 70s.
Considerable moisture, especially in central and east-central
Wisconsin, led to heat index values in the 80s.

This evening, another round of scattered thunderstorms is possible
across central and northeast Wisconsin. Not all locations will see
storms. The main threats will be heavy rain and lightning, but
isolated hail or strong winds are possible.

Temperatures tonight will only fall into the middle 60s to middle
70s, which sets the stage for a warm day tomorrow. Highs Tuesday
will range from 87 to 93 degrees in most locations, but about 10
degrees cooler near the lake shore. Heat index values will be in
the 90s. Chances for thunderstorms return late Tuesday evening.
